Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Abbi, the founder of Bumple.

I grew up in the small rural village of Achmore in the West of Scotland, and now live in a small town just outside of Glasgow with my little family. The idea for Bumple was born in September 2020, shortly after I became a mum for the first time to my daughter, Gracie – who, like many newborns, wasn’t a big fan of sleep in her first year!

During those long, quiet nights, I found myself thinking about the reality of breastfeeding – the lack of stylish, practical clothing that truly supported new mums like me. I wanted to create something that made feeding and expressing easier, while still helping mums feel comfortable, confident, and put-together.

With the idea in mind, I was lucky enough to have the support of my sister – a talented architecture student who helped me bring the first design to life: the Bumple nursing pyjamas.

At Bumple, our mission is simple:

To create beautifully designed, practical maternity and nursing wear that makes life easier for mums, day and night.

Every piece is designed with comfort, ease, and confidence in mind – because I believe mums deserve to feel their best, no matter what stage of the journey they’re in.
